Complementary, integrative and alternative medicine offers a number of effective and non-toxic therapies in the fight against cancer. The preparations used must be called food supplements because they cannot be called medicines. The alternative, often diet-based therapies mentioned below often work so that they create the worst possible conditions for cancer growth. There are treatments that kill only cancer cells, increase natural immunity and cause no side effects. The forms of care presented will constitute a good basis for a comprehensive cancer treatment. Studies show that more than 80% of cancer patients in the British Isles use alternative therapies as part of cancer treatment or as the only treatment. Dietary supplements have been used for many decades, even hundreds of years, but they are not readily announced as important as they are not interesting for the pharmaceutical industry. They cannot be patented and therefore their use is counteracted. This has led to a situation where we only have a few clinical studies on the use of food supplements. However, there is plenty of evidence from thousands of patients who have improved the quality of life and sometimes cured their cancer after using these supplements. Many patients have been fatal when they finally opt for some alternative treatment, but for many it has meant that they have been kept alive.
Alternative treatments for cancer have, of course, been studied. However, clinical trials (research with patients) have rarely been made, but one must rely on experimental studies with experimental animals and tissue samples, as well as on methods that have not yet been fully approved by science. The lack of clinical experiments may be due to economic reasons (clinical studies are very expensive). There are also ethical problems connected to scientific research: “You cannot get permission from the ethics committee to start studies with an alternative method”. We have compiled scientific studies on alternative cancer care on our site to help you discover the benefits of alternative, complementary and integrative cancer treatments.
