How does cancer develop?

Cancer is thought to develop as a consequence of genetic damage in normal cells. The damage can be congenital (10-15 percent of cancer cases) or be caused by, for example, external factors. The cell contains genes which in turn contain germ plasma (DNA) that determines how the cell’s proteins are to be produced. Cancer develops when a string of mutations take place in genes that govern the cell’s ability to grow and divide. These mutations often lead to an overstimulation of cell growth a

What is cancer?

Every human body consists of billions of small cells. These form different tissues and organs such as skin, bone, blood, liver and many more. The cells in these organs have a variety of functions, the skin cells provide protection for the body, the blood cells transport nutrients and oxygen, the muscle cells enable movements and so on.

Yoga works

For the cancer patient, stress is not good at all. It is worthwhile to obtain information on yoga. Yoga is a form of movement combined with breathing that has come to stay in the West. Yoga can be practiced by anyone and by people of all ages. The goal is not to learn to stand on your head and stretch yourself into impossible body movements. The goal is concentration, a form of concentration that one can also achieve at minimal movements, if carried out under total awareness here and now.

Radiotherapy

Radiotherapy is usually given to supplement the surgical procedure and to reduce the risk of local spread. In some cancers, radiotherapy without surgery may suffice. Radiation therapy utilizes radioactive radiation that destroys cancer cells and shrinks the tumors by exposing cancer cells to radiation damage. Even healthy tissue is destroyed, but with modern technology healthy tissue can be better saved. Cancer cells tend to divide faster than healthy cells, so they are particularly suscep

Surgical treatment of cancer

One of the most important cancer treatments is that the cancer is surgically removed (surgical treatment). Malignant tumors, such as cancerous growth and sarcoma, are traditionally treated primarily by surgery. This is done to prevent cancer growth. Often, some healthy tissue must also be removed around the cancer. This is done to prevent the spread of the tumor. Nowadays, attempts are made to remove as little healthy tissue as possible. For example, the goal is to operate breast cancer wi

Some cancer therapies and food supplements

We present some non-toxic therapies and dietary supplements, such as Tanya Harter Pierce explains in detail in her book. All of the described therapies have cured thousands of very ill cancer patients. These treatments can be combined with chemotherapy, but the physician must be informed, as the proportion of chemotherapy can (should!) be significantly reduced. Acupuncture is one of the oldest Eastern therapies that has gained a steady foothold in Western medicine. In China, this treatment

Vitamin D and cancer

Vitamins are absolutely essential for the body's metabolism to function. The role of vitamins in the emergence of cancer has been studied very carefully. Good alternative cancer care

Complementary, integrative and alternative medicine offers a number of effective and non-toxic therapies in the fight against cancer. The preparations used must be called food supplements because they cannot be called medicines. The alternative, often diet-based therapies mentioned below often work so that they create the worst possible conditions for cancer growth. There are treatments that kill only cancer cells, increase natural immunity and cause no side effects. The forms of care pre

Mental well-being and cancer

Your psychological well-being is very important in terms of cancer recovery. If you are depressed and/or stressed the cell’s respiration becomes inadequate and the chances of recovery decrease. It can therefore be worthwhile to invest heavily and selfishly in your own psychological well-being, to strive for a tranquil soul and to – in spite of everything – try to be at peace with life.

Stop cancer growth by strenghtening your immune system

Cancer is a very complicated disease and the prime cause of it as well as the prime treatment for it is not easy to find. Recently cancer research has very much focused on the role of the immune system and to find ways to strenghten the immune system. Many researchers believe that the prime cause of cancer is a compromised immune system. Immune failure is causing cancer.

Ketogenic diets as an adjuvant cancer therapy

Oncologists from University of Iowa have shown that cancer cells, relative to normal cells, demonstrate significant alterations in metabolism. They propose that cancer cells increase glucose and hydroperoxide metabolism to compensate for increased levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS). It is reasonable to propose that forcing cancer cells to use mitochondrial oxidative metabolism by feeding ketogenic diets (high in fats and low in carbohydrates), would selectively cause metabolic oxidat

Dietary fats protect against breast cancer?

A major issue of dispute among researchers is how much the diet affects the onset of cancer. Are dietary fats causing breast cancer? Academic researchers and representatives of school medicine suspect that fatty foods increase the risk of breast cancer. The Cancer Foundation demands women to limit the intake of high-calorie foods that contain a lot of fat and/or sugar (such as sweets, fast foods and pastries) as well as sweet drinks such as soft drinks and juices. Our view is that fatty fo

Ozone therapy and cancer

I have taken some basic information from Ty Bollinger's excellent book The Truth about Cancer (Hay House, 2016).Ozone therapy refers to the process of administering ozone gas into your body to treat a disease or wound. Ozone is a special form of oxygen (O2) that contains an extra atom (O3). This extra atom breaks off from the other two after about 20 to 30 minutes inside the body and has some promising functions for a cancer patient beyond just oxygenating cells.

In 2019, the prize was awarded to British molecular biologist Peter J. Ratcliffe and US physicians Gregg L. Semenza and William Kaelin for examining cellular oxygenation. The ability of cancer cells to adapt to changes in oxygen concentration is widely known. Many cancers thrive in low oxygen levels. Nobel-prize discoveries h

We have put together a small information package of this comprehensive public health care system so little known in Western socie
